The training aimed to promote&nbsp;sustainable aquaculture practices and enhance support for local&nbsp; fisherfolk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"mso-pagination: none; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-word; line-height: 118%;\"><span lang=\"en-US\" style=\"font-family: Calibri; mso-armenian-font-family: Calibri; mso-hebrew-font-family: Calibri; mso-arabic-font-family: Calibri; mso-georgian-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-style-textfill-type: solid; mso-style-textfill-fill-color: black; mso-style-textfill-fill-alpha: 100%; language: en-US; mso-ansi-language: en-US; mso-ligatures: none;\">The training was attended by 25 participants, including presidents and representatives of fisherfolks associations from across the&nbsp;province. Engr. Zaldie C. Gawad from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) discussed grant&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; opportunities, while Ms. Sheryll D. Montesa from BFAR, Ruelita D. Nilo from Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Mr. Michael Angelo Gawad from Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), and Ms.&nbsp;&nbsp; Hazel Gardoce from Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) outlined available financial assistance and loan programs.
